Jan Palmaers

After graduating as a bioengineer from Ghent University, Jan gained valuable experience in the fish feed industry. Here he learned about the dynamic and challenging market of Southeast Asia. He played a key role in starting the Feed BU at an international logistics engineering company, where he further developed his organizational and strategic skills. He was co-founder of a innovative company that produced electricity from cow manure. This was a very pioneering renewable energy project. He then co-founded a company that produced insulation material from hemp, a progressive initiative within the biobased industry.

He strongly believes in the importance of attracting the right people to grow a business.
